Project Updates

We are closing in on the finish line for many of the projects that were delayed by ice and snow.  Most critical is the completion of the irrigation mainline repair between the clubhouse and the lake.  That was something we planned to have done by a contractor with bigger equipment.  We met in December to go over the plan and it obviously needed to be complete by March.  Contractor delays forced us into doing it ourselves.  Our team is highly skilled and the problem turned out to be closer to the pump house than expected so we were able to accomplish this job in-house.  We needed a welder to help for a day, but our guys nailed it.  Now that we have water in the pipes we can start to troubleshoot issues in the field.  There are always surprises in the spring when we turn things on for the first time.

The range tee project is just a day or two from completion.  The new mats will be installed tomorrow and Thursday with a team effort from Chase's guys in the golf shop, Dalton from the clubhouse, and some of our staff on the course.  Once installed, all that's left is some growing weather to help the sod heal up.

The parking area at the putting green turned out nice.  We just need to do some sod repair and re-grading to match the curb.  We are going to replace the area between the path and the green with zoysia grass.  It will be much more durable during the busy season although it may look worse before it looks better.  Zoysia is not green yet.

We will grade and re-grass the area left of the curb along with some other
touch ups with drainage and irrigation
