Day 2 Update

Tuesday was almost an awesome day.  Weather couldn't have been better, but some equipment woes held us up.

AERATION...We completed the back nine aeration and topdressing.  This process went perfect.  All that's really left is a final brush and roll.  Actually those steps will happen at least twice for good measure, but the vast majority of the back nine process is complete.  Wednesday looks like a gloomy day so things could get delayed again.

CART PATHS...The distance to travel from General Wadsworth Dr. to 4 tee proved to be too much for the small buggies hauling the concrete.  They were very slow which created a logjam of concrete trucks on the street.  The guys worked as fast as the equipment would let them and continued to make a huge dent in the 3rd hole path repairs.  Tomorrow will be easier as they are getting closer to the street which will save a lot of time.  Hole 6 will be a beast as it's an even longer run from the road.  With a bridge at the beginning of 6 and another one at the end of 7, we have very limited access to and from those holes with heavy equipment.

The first concrete poured today

Connor on 10.  We aerated following the topdressing this time

We broke up the plugs with the steel drag mat

We brushed the leftovers to the edges and shoveled them up.
