Saturday Update

Not much has changed since the Tuesday update, but the "warm" days are almost here.  We should start to see some melting soon.   It's still impossible to predict what day we will be open so for now the tee sheets are still blocked off.   I'll wait until tomorrow evening to give my best guess on a re-opening day.   Thanks for your patience! 

This is hole 4 on Friday afternoon.  The ice on greens is 3+ inches thick in some places and no grass is visible yet.  There are a number of other greens that look like this while some are mostly clear.

Ernie wrapped up the bridge on hole 4.  We'll have to do some concrete work on one end 
but the bridge is completed.  Staining will occur later in the year. 

Jason has had his hands full with the old Ford.  Lots of leaky gaskets needed
replacing and a few fabrications to replace corroded parts were done.  This 
was a little bit of a dice roll, but worth the effort regardless of the outcome.
It would be an awesome "victory" for Jason and the club if this works out.
