Labor Day Weekend Update

2.3" of steady rain fell last night.  Thankfully temperatures have come down as well.  Unfortunately we suffered some tree damage, bunkers are a mess, and we were unable to get fairways mowed.  Due to the storm our efforts centered on making the course passable and mowing greens.  The timing of this storm was not ideal.  It's likely that the course will not be "mowable" until Monday which happens to be Labor Day when we expect a full house of golf.  Be prepared for a few days of ugliness and what looks like a full week of catch up mowing next Tuesday-Friday.  To add some extra stress to the workload, we have the tees on 8 being rebuilt, an irrigation pump being replaced, and several very large trees to clean up from last night's storm.  We are down to just the off season staff now so please bear with us as we juggle storm related catch up work along with some prior commitments from contractors on much needed projects.  This time of year is overwhelming, but we will get through it eventually.  Thank you for all your support and patience!

Thankfully this big oak fell at night and not during play

Your punch out shots from the right side of 16 will be easier now

Irrigation antenna repaired today.  We are grasping at straws to improve
the radio signal to each hole.  Hopefully this helps.

We removed the bad mix from 8 tees this week

The back bank on 18 has been evolving into common bermuda grass the past 5 years.
It's not a winnable fight in our current state so we are learning
to love it and trying to make the most of it.  It will be overseeded with ryegrass soon.
