Ball Mark Repair
We've been an extremely busy course this summer and expect that trend to continue well into the fall. Pest problems are piling up in the heat and humidity, but we've done a good job staying on top of those so far. However, the cumulative effect of heavy play is easily visible on every hole. Divots, unraked bunkers, unrepaired ball marks, cart traffic wear, etc... are things we have no easy answer for. We can only make regular requests for your help and hope for the best.
Here is a good video that was recently sent to me on proper Ball Mark Repair There are a lot of ways to quickly and easily fix a ball mark correctly. As long as there is green grass on top and it's smooth you did it right. If it's not both of those then you did not do it right.
Please help us help you by doing anything possible to minimize any golfer induced stress to the course. Golfers play a huge role in course conditions and we need all the help we can get.
