Winter Weed Control Plan / Course Closed Next Monday

Next Monday, March 8th we hope to make a significant dent in our winter weed issue.  The course will need to be closed for this task.  This is an annual event in the dormant zoysia, but typically we complete it well before March.  However, this February offered zero opportunities for us to leave the cart path.  Monday won't be ideal, but the evil of some sprayer ruts in zoysia is less than the evil of a bumper crop of weeds left untouched.  We may still have to skip some areas, but we will get a lot done, weather permitting.  We need above freezing temps, dry or frozen ground, no rain in the forecast, little to no breeze, and no golfers.  We can only control one of those variables.  Weeds like poa annua (annual bluegrass) make up about 95% of the problem.  I'm embarrassed at the way things look right now so there is no picture here to illustrate the issue.  However, here is a picture from several years ago showing a treated area vs. an untreated area...

This green splotch in the middle of the 13th fairway is an area that we missed with our sprayer.  Also notice how crisp the outer margin of the zoysia is against the rough.  That's from a couple of seasons worth of effort to suppress bermuda and zoysia in the rough.  We are back to having very "blurry" lines along the edges due to the amount of bermuda and zoysia in the rough since we stopped this step.  I'd love to start it up again if possible.
