It's Dry...Ponds are low and grass is thirsty
Ponds are drying up again in the midst of another hot dry spell. This is an annual event that we have no control over. The 14 ponds on the golf course along with the others scattered throughout the community all suffer this time of year. Phone calls and emails, while numerous, have no impact on the current conditions. The 7 ponds that are fed by two wells do not stand a chance of staying full when conditions get this way. The others rely on our irrigation system which is not an option when we need water for grass. I wish I could flip a switch and make it rain, but my skills are not that advanced.
