Topdressing Time
Today we squeezed in a light topdressing on greens. This is a critical step in the process of keeping greens smooth and healthy. It's something we hope to do every 2 weeks over the next few months. When we aerate with coring tines we topdress heavily to fill holes. Much more sand is used in this process than in the "light" topdressings we do. When we lightly topdress it's more of a dusting of sand.
The visible sand today will disappear tomorrow thanks to the small afternoon rain shower.
