Water Level Improving
Today the lake has much more water in it than it did just a month ago. After several dry weeks in which the water level slowly dropped, we are finally heading in the right direction. The first picture is of the lake on the day the leak was stopped. The next two are following a few dry days/weeks and you can see the pump starting to show up above the surface. The last picture was taken today (Jan. 6) and the pond is about 14" higher than it was at it's low point. That is about 100 million gallons for those keeping score. We have a long way to go, but as long as the ground stays frozen or saturated we should get a good benefit from any precipitation. Runoff is our best friend right now.
