Pardon Our Mess

Last week we received nearly 4 inches of rain.  This came in waves from Tuesday through Saturday night/Sunday morning.  Consequently the golf course has been far too wet to mow.  It takes two full, uninterrupted days to mow all of the rough and fairways and since we only had one day (Monday) of fair weather we are in very rough shape at the moment.  We tried to get the fairway mower out some Saturday, but we did more bad than good as it was still too wet.  It rained again Saturday night so as I write this Sunday morning it is even wetter than it was yesterday.  We have a big outing Monday so mowing time will be brief if it's dry enough to even try.  We hope you will understand that we are doing the best we can in difficult circumstances.  We just don't seem to be able to catch a break from mother nature.
