Greens Recovery

We aerated two weeks ago and are in pretty good shape now although we're facing a little more top growth than I'd like.  In an effort to speed recovery and as part of the normal fall schedule we fertilized greens during the aeration process.  This helps get the turf to cover over the aeration holes, but can also cause slower green speed due to excess vertical growth.  I expect that recently applied growth regulators will start to take effect any day and we will see green speed pick back up.  A roller would be a great tool for us to consider buying as another option for shortening recovery time among many other benefits.
