Relief!!

After a week of high 90s and more drought it felt more like August 57th than September 26th. Finally some much needed rain and cooler temperatures have arrived and it is quite a relief to all of us as well as the course. We are not as far along in our fall work as we had planned due to the prolonged summer weather. Our focus has been on keeping things alive through the brutal conditions of September. This relief will allow us to shift our energy to rough aeration, seeding where needed, fertilizing, etc...
