AERATING GREENS
Monday and Tuesday (April 5,6) we will be aerating greens. The course will be closed on Monday. On Tuesday the first tee time will be 9:00, however, the back nine will be closed until mid afternoon. This means that a group teeing off hole #1 before noon may not be able to start the back nine right away. Playing the front nine twice may be the best way to get in 18 holes unless you wait until mid day to start.
We will be aerating, verticutting, fertilizing, topdressing, brushing, rolling, and watering each green. It is much better to allow the process to be fully completed before opening for play. Otherwise it takes a much longer time to perform all the tasks and it is more disruptive to play. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. This is a vital part of the course upkeep that will help prolong the life of our greens and make them much more durable in the summer.
